Pillaiyar Suzhi (Marupiravi): The Beginning of a New Chapter
Every journey has an ending, and every ending creates space for a new beginning. For me, Pillaiyar Suzhi (Marupiravi) represents that new beginning. When I released ஞானத்தின் உதயம் (Nyanathin Uthayam: The Ennealogie mixtape) , I viewed it as the death of my imperfect self. That mixtape was a reflection of my childhood, my struggles, my traumas, my mistakes, and the experiences that shaped me into who I am today. It was a deeply personal project that allowed me to confront my past and put those chapters of my life into music. But life does not end with reflection. Life moves forward. Pillaiyar Suzhi (Marupiravi) is my rebirth. The title itself carries a special meaning. In Tamil culture, when we begin writing something important, we often start with the "Pillaiyar Suzhi" the sacred symbol that marks the beginning of a journey.
